These one-of-a-kind steel toe boots are the perfect companion to get you through harsh rain and snow. Made of waterproof rubber, the boots feature an insulating layer of wool and felt, concealed by a second, vacuum-tight layer of rubber for highly effective insulation, allowing them to be worn in temperatures ranging from -20 to -60 degrees Fahrenheit. This style was first developed at the Navy Clothing and Textile Research Center in Natick, Massachusetts for use during the Korean War. This particular model was issued in December 1982.
